Yuchen Wei is an MPhil student with a background in Engineering Mechanics at Zhengzhou University. His research focuses on cross-media UAVs, bio-inspired perching mechanisms, intelligent robotics, and AI-assisted UAV development. He has contributed to multiple UAV-related invention patents and software systems, and has led or participated in interdisciplinary projects involving mechanical design, control systems, simulation, prototyping, and field testing.

Project Founder & Leader

Led the development of a cross-media UAV platform designed for aerial, aquatic, and terrestrial operation. The project explores configurable bio-inspired and soft-bodied mechanisms for multimodal locomotion, perching, and environmental interaction.

  • Led an interdisciplinary team across mechanical design, control, simulation, and system integration.
  • Contributed to multiple UAV-related invention patents and software systems.

Participated in an intelligent agricultural automation project integrating PLC control, computer vision, and cloud-based alarm systems for unmanned livestock farming.
