Focusing on the study of fundamental theories (mechanics and physics) related to interfacial phenomena (e.g., contact, adhesion, fracture, friction, impact, wetting, antifouling, conduction), the design and modelling of responsive soft materials and mechanical metamaterials, as well as the development of mechanics and physics-guided intelligence.
