About

Yingying Ke is a Research Assistant with interdisciplinary experience in biomedical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, biomaterials, and research project operations. She received her M.S. from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and her B.E. in Food Science and Engineering from South China Agricultural University.

Her work bridges research and laboratory operations. She has supported national research projects and industry-academia collaborations across proposal development, deliverables, budget reconciliation, reporting, and institutional coordination, while conducting research on bio-orthogonal hydrogels, viral-vector surface engineering, flexible electronics, and biointerfaces.

Provided full-cycle operational support for national research projects and industry-sponsored collaborations at the Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology.

  • Supported proposal drafting, deliverables, closing reports, and financial and administrative compliance.
  • Completed more than 200 budget reconciliations on schedule.
  • Contributed to needs assessment, proposal writing, agreement drafting, and coordination for two launched industry-sponsored projects.

Bio-orthogonal Hydrogel and Viral-Vector Engineering

Researcher

Developed biomaterial and bio-orthogonal engineering strategies for organoid culture and targeted gene-therapy vectors.

  • Developed a hyaluronic-acid-based bio-orthogonally crosslinked hydrogel system for three-dimensional organoid encapsulation and culture.
  • Established microscopy-based analysis of cell-material interactions within engineered microenvironments.
  • Engineered viral-vector surfaces through metabolic labeling and click chemistry, followed by in vitro and in vivo validation.
